Banner Engineering QS30R W/30 is a photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications, featuring an M30 threaded mount for secure installation. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and is housed in a durable thermoplastic with an acrylic lens. It is equipped with a pre-wired 30ft / 9m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads, facilitating straightforward connection. Part of the QS30 DC voltage series, it requires a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values. The QS30R W/30 offers a sensing distance of up to 60m and utilizes infrared light, supporting both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes. It features a single digital output (PNP/NPN transistor) and boasts a rapid response time of 5ms. This sensor is protected against ingress by an IP67 NEMA 6 rated enclosure, ensuring its suitability for a wide range of industrial environments.
