About the product
Banner Engineering S30RW3RE is a photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications, part of the S30 series. This sensor features an emitter and receiver pair housed in a thermoplastic material. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads. The sensor operates on a supply voltage range of 20Vac-250Vac, with nominal values at 200Vac, 220Vac, and 240Vac. It is designed to function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6P. The S30RW3RE has a cylindrical threaded/barrel shape with an M30 thread size. It includes one digital output (Solid-state AC output) and can detect objects up to 60m away. The sensor operates in Dark-ON mode, uses infrared light with a wavelength of 950 nm, and has a response time of 16ms / 0.016 s.
