Banner Engineering SE61EMHS is a photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications, part of the SE61 DC series. This sensor functions as an emitter alone, housed in a thermoplastic casing. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable featuring bare end flying leads for connection. The SE61EMHS operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is designed to operate within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +50°C. This sensor offers a high degree of protection, rated at IP66 NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 12, and 13, making it suitable for a variety of environmental conditions. Its rectangular shape is complemented by a single digital output (PNP/NPN transistor), a sensing distance of up to 1.8m, and utilizes infrared (IR) light. The SE61EMHS features a rapid response time of 1ms / 0.001 s and operates in Light-ON mode.
