About the product
Banner Engineering SMA30PELC is a photo-electric sensor designed as part of the SM30 series, featuring a through-beam system with opposed mode "C" modulation frequency and is washdown rated. This sensor, functioning as an emitter alone, is housed in a thermoplastic material. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The SMA30PELC operates on a supply voltage range of 12Vac-240Vac (200Vac / 220Vac nominal) for AC and 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nominal) for DC. It is designed to work within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. This sensor is protected to a degree of IP67, NEMA 6P, and IP69K, indicating a high level of protection against dust, water, and other environmental conditions. It features an M30 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape, with a sensing distance of up to 150m. The SMA30PELC utilizes infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 880 nm and has a response time of 10ms / 0.01 s. The thread size for mounting is M30.
