About the product
Banner Engineering SMA31EPDQD is a photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications with opposed mode potentiometer adjustment. This sensor, part of the SM2A312 series, functions as an emitter alone and is housed in a thermoplastic casing with an acrylic lens. It comes pre-equipped with a 3-pin 1/2" micro connector for connectivity and operates on a supply voltage ranging from 24Vac to 240Vac (200Vac / 220Vac nominal). The SMA31EPDQD features an M18 threaded mount for installation and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. It offers a high degree of protection, rated at IP67, NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, 12, and 13, making it suitable for various environmental conditions. The sensor has a rectangular shape, a sensing distance of 300mm, and emits a visible red light with a wavelength of 650 nm. Its response time is quick at 2ms / 0.002 s, and it supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
