About the product

Banner Engineering SME312DV is a photo-electric sensor from the SME312 Expert series, designed with a diffuse mode TEACH mode. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing and an acrylic lens. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The SME312DV operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is equipped for mounting with an M18 threaded mount and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. This sensor offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, 12, and 13. It has a rectangular shape and includes 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor). The sensing distance of the SME312DV is 1.1m, and it utilizes visible red light with a wavelength of 650 nm. Its response time is 0.5ms / 0.0005 s, and it supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
