About the product
Banner Engineering SME312FQD-71631 is a photo-electric fiber optic sensor from the SME312 Expert series, designed with a thermoplastic housing and glass fiber. It features a cover TEACH mode for enhanced functionality. This sensor is pre-equipped with a 5-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity and operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is designed for M18 threaded mount installation and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. The SME312FQD-71631 offers a high degree of protection, rated at IP67, NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, 12, and 13, making it suitable for various environmental conditions. Its rectangular shape incorporates 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor) and operates with an infrared light color at a wavelength of 880 nm. The sensor's response time is notably quick at 0.5ms / 0.0005 s, and it supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
