About the product
Banner Engineering SME312WQDP is a photo-electric sensor from the SME312 Expert series, featuring a divergent diffuse system with TEACH mode. This sensor is housed in thermoplastic with an acrylic lens and comes pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm pigtail terminated with a 5-pin Euro-style M12 connector. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.) and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. The SME312WQDP offers a high degree of protection, rated at IP67, NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, 12, and 13, making it suitable for a variety of environmental conditions. Its rectangular shape incorporates 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor) and has a sensing distance of 130mm. The sensor operates with infrared light (IR) at a wavelength of 880 nm and boasts a rapid response time of 0.5ms / 0.0005 s. It supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
