About the product
Banner Engineering SME312LPQDP is a polarized photo-electric sensor from the SME312 Expert series, designed in a retro-reflective mode with TEACH mode functionality. It features a thermoplastic housing and an acrylic lens. This sensor is pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm pigtail terminated with a 5-pin Euro-style M12 connector. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.) and can be mounted using an M18 threaded mount. The SME312LPQDP is capable of operating in ambient air temperatures ranging from -20 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, 12, and 13. Its rectangular shape incorporates 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor) and can sense distances from 10cm to 3m. The sensor emits visible red light with a wavelength of 650 nm and has a response time of 0.5ms / 0.0005 s. It supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
