About the product

Banner Engineering SMI306EYQ is a sensor belonging to the SMI30 series, designed as a through-beam system or opposed mode "A" modulation frequency photo-electric sensor. This intrinsically-safe photo-electric sensor functions as an emitter alone, housed in a thermoplastic material with an acrylic lens. It comes pre-equipped with a 3-pin 7/8" mini connector for connectivity. The SMI306EYQ operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is designed to function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70 degrees Celsius. This sensor offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 and NEMA 6P, ensuring its durability in various environmental conditions. It features an M30 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape, with a sensing distance of up to 60 meters. The light emitted is in the infrared (IR) spectrum, with a wavelength of 880 nm, and it boasts a rapid response time of 1ms or 0.001 seconds. The thread size for mounting is M30.
