Banner Engineering STBVP6-78574 is a self-checking safety optical touch-button designed for various automation applications. This part features a polyetherimide upper housing, a polypropylene (PP) field cover, and a reinforced P.B.T. polyester base, ensuring durability and resilience in demanding environments. It comes pre-wired with a 2m / 6.5ft 4-wire cable terminated with bare end flying leads for easy integration into existing systems. The touch-button operates within a supply voltage range of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc-24Vdc nom.) and can be mounted on the surface or base flush with a 30mm hole. It is designed to function in ambient air temperatures ranging from 0 to +50°C. With an IP66, NEMA 1, NEMA 3, NEMA 4, NEMA 4X, NEMA 12, and NEMA 13 degree of protection, it is well-suited for use in various environmental conditions. The saddle/yoke-shaped body is black with a yellow cover, and it features 2 x digital outputs (10-30Vdc; PNP; complementary; 150mA) with a current consumption of 75mA. The operating mode is momentary NO (Normally Open) or NC (Normally Closed), which is configurable to suit different application needs.
