About the product
Banner Engineering T18-2VPFF100IR-2M is a fixed-field photo-electric sensor from the T18-2 series, designed with a background suppression system. It features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. This sensor operates within a supply voltage range of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is capable of functioning in ambient air temperatures ranging from -40 to +70°C. The T18-2VPFF100IR-2M offers a high degree of protection with ratings of IP67, IP68, IP69K, and NEMA 6P, making it suitable for harsh environmental conditions. Its M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape facilitates easy installation. This sensor provides one digital output (PNP transistor; complementary), has a sensing distance of 100mm, and utilizes infrared (IR) light with a response time of 1.5ms / 0.0015 s. It supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes and is equipped with an M18 thread size.
