About the product
Banner Engineering T18-2VPFF50IR-2M is a fixed-field photo-electric sensor from the T18-2 series, designed with a background suppression system. It features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. This sensor operates within a supply voltage range of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and can function in ambient air temperatures ranging from -40 to +70°C. It offers a high degree of protection, rated at IP67, IP68, and IP69K, as well as NEMA 6P, making it suitable for harsh environmental conditions. The sensor has an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape, includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor; complementary), and provides a sensing distance of 50mm. It utilizes infrared (IR) light, has a response time of 1.5ms / 0.0015 s, and supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes. The thread size for installation is M18.
