Banner Engineering VSM-2S4RPR500-Q3 is a photo-electric sensor with a stainless steel housing, P.B.T./Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) optics, and a polyurethane (PUR) cable sheath. It offers an IP67 degree of protection, making it suitable for operation in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25 to +65°C. This sensor operates in Dark-ON mode and features a single digital output (PNP transistor / IO-Link; 100mA). It has a response time of 500µs in normal mode, with fine and fast modes accessible via IO-Link. The VSM-2S4RPR500-Q3 uses the IO-Link communication protocol and is pre-wired with a 6" / 15cm PUR cable terminated with a 3-pin Pico-style M8 connector.
