AB7657-F HMS Networks Industrial Automation Components

Anybus by HMS Networks AB7657-F is a gateway designed for protocol translation within the X-gateway series. It functions as an Interbus Fiber Optic slave and a PROFINET-IO device, facilitating communication between different industrial networks. The gateway is equipped with 10 LED indicators for monitoring fieldbus, sub-network, and device status, and features a baud rate jumper for speed adjustments. It supports a supply voltage range of 19.2-28.8Vdc, with a nominal voltage of 24Vdc. The dimensions of the AB7657-F are H127mm x W44mm x D114mm, and it is constructed from aluminium and plastic, ensuring durability while maintaining a lightweight design. For connections, it offers one RJ45 LAN connector for 100Mbit/s Ethernet and PROFINET I.O. operations, two fiber optic TX connectors, and two fiber optic RX connectors for bus communication, alongside a 2-poles 5.08mm plug-in screw connector for power and a USB connector for I/O configuration via Anybus Configuration Manager software. The AB7657-F is capable of operating in environments with 5-95% relative humidity (non-condensing) and can be stored in temperatures ranging from -40 to +85 °C. Its communication speeds are 100Mbit/s for PROFINET and 500kbit/s to 2Mbit/s for INTERBUS.
