Pilz PILZ-632049 is a safety light curtain designed for finger protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 14mm. This emitter and receiver pair is part of the PSEN opII3F sub-range and is housed in an aluminium body with zinc end caps and a PC front screen, ensuring durability. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C for operation and -25 to +70°C for storage. The device offers a protective height of 1650mm and overall dimensions of 1654mm in height, 35mm in width, and 40mm in depth. It features a 5-pin M12 connector for both the emitter and receiver, facilitating straightforward connectivity. With an IP65 degree of protection, it is safeguarded against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction. The safety light curtain operates on a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc, and has a maximum power consumption of 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. It supports a sensing distance from 0.2m to 8m and utilizes infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. The device also includes two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs and has a response time of 18.7ms with beam coding and 91.4ms.
