Product description
Pilz PILZ-890160 is a protection unit designed for true power monitoring with a relay that supports 9 different measuring ranges. It features adjustable switching for underload and overload thresholds, along with customizable monitoring reaction time and start-up suppression time. This unit is suitable for DIN rail mounting and operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C. It has a net height of 87 mm and is designed to measure from 0 percent, with a rated current of 18A for measuring current. The safety output contacts ratings vary from 0.1A-5A at 24Vdc (DC-1; 120W) and 240Vac (AC-1; 1200VA) to 0.1A-1.5A at 24Vdc (DC-13) and 0.1A-1.8A at 230Vac (AC-15). Connection is made through fixed screw terminal connections. The supply voltage ranges from 27.5-264.5Vac for AC and 93.5-287.5Vdc for DC, accommodating various nominal voltages. It belongs to the S1WP sub-range, with dimensions of W22.5mm and a degree of protection rated at IP40. The frequency range for measurement extends up to 1kHz. Constructed with a PPO housing, it is designed for both single-phase (1AC) and 3-phase (3AC) input types, with a rated voltage for AC and DC measuring voltage up to 415Vac/dc. The unit's net width is 22.5 mm, and it consumes 5 VA of power, with a net depth of 121 mm. It can be stored in temperatures ranging from -40 to +85°C. The digital outputs include 1 x auxiliary output (SPDT-NO/NC contacts; 0.1-5A 24Vdc 120W DC-1 or 240Vac 1200VA AC-1 resistive load), and the analog inputs comprise 1 x analog input for current measurement (K1-UL1) and 1 x analog input for voltage measurement (L1-L3). Protection functions include underpower and overpower, with 1 x analog output for voltage (U) and current (I) monitoring.
