PULS CS5.241 is a DIN rail mounting power supply unit with an aluminium housing designed for a wide range of industrial applications. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +70°C and has a net width of 32mm. The unit consumes 1.23A with a 230Vac input, 2A with a 120Vac input, and 2.33A with a 100Vac input for full 24Vdc output, with a peak inrush current of 10A across all input voltages. It features an efficiency of 0.902 at 230Vac input, 0.894 at 120Vac input, and 0.888 at 100Vac input. The dimensions of the CS5.241 are W32mm x H124mm x D117mm. It has a start-up delay of 740-900ms and a rise time of 8ms to 25ms depending on the load capacitance. The power supply unit includes protection functions such as output overvoltage protection and an active input inrush current limiter, with overload and short-circuit current protection. It supports series or parallel operation for redundancy and is resistant to back-feeding loads up to 35V. Power dissipation losses are 13.2W and 14.5W for 230Vac and 120Vac inputs, respectively, at full output load. The output stage capacitance is 1800µF. Electrical durability ranges from 34,000 to 408,000 hours depending on the operating conditions. The ripple is 50mVpp across a 20Hz to 20MHz frequency range. This AC/DC power supply unit, part of the C-Line series, is designed with a 20% power reserve and includes a DC-OK relay contact output. It features screw-clamp connections and accepts a supply voltage of 85Vac-132Vac / 184Vac-264Vac with auto-selection. The rated current is 6A at 24Vdc in ambient temperatures less than 45°C and 5A at 24Vdc in temperatures less than 60°C. It operates on a single-phase network and provides a rated power of 144W in ambient temperatures less than 45°C and 120W in temperatures less than 60°C. The output voltage is adjustable between 24Vdc and 28Vdc, with a hold time of 78ms to 80ms depending on the input voltage.
