PULS PISA11.406 is a protection unit designed as a 4-channel protection module with 1 input and 4 outputs, suitable for DIN rail mounting. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +70°C and adheres to NEC Class 2 design specifications. The rated current is 20A, distributed as 10A for each output, with a derating to 0.025A per degree Celsius from +60°C to +70°C. It features screw-clamp connections for secure installation and is part of the PISA11-series. The dimensions of the unit are W45mm x H75mm x D91mm. It requires a supply voltage of 18Vdc to 30Vdc, with 24Vdc typical and 21.4Vdc required to turn on the outputs. The output voltage is adjustable between 24Vdc and 28Vdc. Protection functions include short-circuit protection with an 8ms shutdown time and current limitation with an adjustable threshold between 0.5A and 30A. Power dissipation at full output load with a 24V input is 4.9W. The processing time for turn-on delay of output is 270ms, and the voltage drop across the unit is 197mV or 0.197V. Electrical durability is rated at 155,000 hours at 40°C with 4x5A output and 437,000 hours at 25°C with 4x5A output.
