About the product
Banner Engineering M18-3VPRS-Q8 is a photo-electric sensor from the M18-3 (Nickel-plated brass) series designed for through-beam system applications with opposed mode potentiometer adjustment. This sensor features an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape with a nickel-plated brass housing and an acrylic lens. It is pre-equipped with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. The sensor operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is designed to function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 and IP69K. The operating modes include Light-ON and Dark-ON options. It has an M18 thread size and a sensing distance of up to 25 meters. Additionally, it features 1 x digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC) with a response time of 1.5ms / 0.0015 s.
