Banner Engineering PBF26UHFM2.5 is a fiber optic sensor designed for diffuse-reflective system applications, featuring a ferrule end tip and bifurcated fiber for in-line sensing. This sensor is part of the Plastic fiber series and is characterized by a cylindrical (smooth) end tip. It has a diameter of 5.2mm at the end with a 1mm fiber core. The sensing end is made of stainless steel, while the fiber is encased in a plastic sheath with a Steelskin coating for added durability. The sensor has a length of 3 feet (approximately 1 meter) and is capable of operating in ambient air temperatures up to +70°C.
