Banner Engineering QS18VN6D W/30 is a photo-electric sensor designed for versatile applications, featuring an M18 threaded mount for secure installation. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and is equipped with a diffuse mode potentiometer for easy adjustment. This sensor is pre-wired with a 30ft / 9m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads, ensuring convenient connection options. Part of the QS18 series, it offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, suitable for demanding environments. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. Its rectangular shape is constructed from a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens, ensuring durability. With a sensing distance of 450mm and utilizing infrared (IR) light, it supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes. Additionally, it features 1 x digital output (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC) and boasts a rapid response time of 0.6ms / 0.0006 s.
