About the product
Banner Engineering QS18VN6LPQ8-94187 is a polarized photo-electric sensor designed for a variety of detection applications. It features an M18 threaded mount for easy installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. This sensor is designed in a retro-reflective mode with potentiometer adjustment and is pre-equipped with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for straightforward connectivity. Part of the QS18 series, it boasts an IP67 NEMA 6 degree of protection, ensuring durability in harsh environments. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. Its rectangular shape is constructed from a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens, capable of sensing distances up to 3.5m with visible red light. It offers versatile operating modes, including Light-ON and Dark-ON, and features 1 x digital output (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC) with a rapid response time of 0.6ms / 0.0006 s.
