About the product
Banner Engineering SLLCE40-350-S is a safety light curtain from the LS-S series type 4 safety light curtains, designed with a cascadable feature. This part functions as a safety light curtain emitter alone, constructed with an aluminium housing, acrylic lens, and zinc end caps. It features an Integral Removable Disconnect (RD) for its connection type. The dimensions include a 350mm protective height, with a net width of 36 mm, net height of 355 mm, and net depth of 45 mm. The housing is colored yellow, and it operates on a 24Vdc supply voltage. It is designed to work within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +55°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP65 and IP67. The light curtain has a 40mm beam spacing/pitch, with 1 x digital output (24Vdc; sourcing/PNP transistor; 70mA) for emitter fault indication. It can sense objects within a distance of 10cm to 12m, utilizing infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 850 nm. The response time is 8.2ms / 0.0082 s, and it has a resolution of 40mm for arm detection.
