Banner Engineering SLSRBR30-1500Q8 is a safety light curtain designed for hand detection with a resolution of 30mm and a protective height of 1500mm. This component of the SLS series features an aluminium housing with an acrylic lens and die-cast zinc end caps, ensuring durability. It is pre-equipped with an 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector for straightforward integration. The yellow housing is designed to operate within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C and is protected against dust and low-pressure water jets with an IP65 rating. The device requires a 24Vdc supply voltage and offers a sensing distance between 10cm and 18m. It includes two digital outputs (24Vdc; 500mA; sourcing; redundant OSSD solid-state outputs) and one digital output (24Vdc; 75mA; sourcing/PNP transistor) for versatile connectivity. Additionally, it features one digital input (10Vdc-30Vdc) for EDM and one for RESET functions. With a response time of 27ms, a net width of 36mm, a net height of 1569mm, and a net depth of 46mm, this safety light curtain is designed for efficient and effective hand protection in a variety of industrial settings.
