About the product
Banner Engineering SM2A312CQD is a photo-electric sensor from the SM2A312 series, designed with a convergent mode potentiometer adjustment. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and is pre-equipped with a 3-pin 1/2" micro connector for connectivity. It operates on a supply voltage range of 24Vac-240Vac (200Vac / 220Vac nom.) and can be mounted using an M18 threaded mount. The ambient air temperature for operation ranges from -20 to +70°C. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, NEMA 2, NEMA 3, NEMA 3S, NEMA 4, NEMA 4X, NEMA 6, NEMA 12, and NEMA 13. The sensor has a rectangular shape and includes 1 x digital output (Solid-state AC output; SPST contact type) with a sensing distance of 16mm. It utilizes infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 880 nm and has a response time of 4ms / 0.004 s.
