About the product
Banner Engineering SM303E is a photo-electric sensor designed as part of the SM30 series, featuring a through-beam system in an opposed mode configuration. This sensor functions as an emitter alone, housed in a thermoplastic body with an acrylic lens. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates in bare end flying leads for connection. The SM303E operates on a supply voltage ranging from 20Vac to 250Vac, with nominal values at 200Vac, 220Vac, and 240Vac. It is designed to function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70 degrees Celsius. This sensor offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 and NEMA 6P, ensuring its durability in various environmental conditions. It features an M30 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape for easy installation. The sensing distance of the SM303E is up to 60 meters, utilizing infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 880 nm for detection.
