About the product
Banner Engineering SM30SN6RE is a photo-electric sensor within the SM30 series, designed with a through-beam system or opposed mode. This sensor features a photo-electric array consisting of an emitter and receiver pair, housed in a thermoplastic body with an acrylic lens. It operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The SM30SN6RE is built to function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70 degrees Celsius and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 and NEMA 6P. Its M30 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape is designed for easy installation, and it includes 1 x digital output (NPN transistor) for connectivity. This sensor can detect objects up to a distance of 60 meters using infrared light with a wavelength of 880 nm and responds within 3 milliseconds. It supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes for versatile application.
