About the product
Banner Engineering SM30SRLC W/30 is a photo-electric sensor from the SM30 series, designed with a through-beam system and opposed mode "C" modulation frequency. This sensor functions as a receiver alone, encased in a stainless steel housing for durability. It comes pre-wired with a 30ft / 9m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for easy installation. The sensor operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. It is rated with a degree of protection of IP67 NEMA 6P, indicating a high level of protection against dust and water ingress. The SM30SRLC W/30 features a M30 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape for mounting, and it offers one digital output (PNP/NPN transistor) for signaling. It boasts a sensing distance of up to 150m and utilizes infrared light with a wavelength of 880 nm for detection. The sensor's response time is quick at 10ms / 0.01 s, and it supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes, making it versatile for various applications.
