About the product
Banner Engineering SM312D W/30 is a photo-electric sensor from the SM312 series, designed with a diffuse mode potentiometer adjustment. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and is pre-wired with a 30ft / 9m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with 12Vdc / 24Vdc being nominal. The SM312D W/30 offers an M18 threaded mount for installation and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. It boasts a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, NEMA 2, NEMA 3, NEMA 3S, NEMA 4, NEMA 4X, NEMA 6, and NEMA 12. The sensor has a rectangular shape and includes 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor), with a sensing distance of 380mm. It utilizes infrared (IR) light and has a response time of 1ms / 0.001 s, supporting both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
