About the product
Banner Engineering SM312CQD is a photo-electric sensor from the SM312 series, designed with a convergent mode potentiometer adjustment. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and is pre-equipped with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. It operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and can be mounted using an M18 threaded mount. The SM312CQD is capable of operating in ambient air temperatures ranging from -20 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, NEMA 2, NEMA 3, NEMA 3S, NEMA 4, NEMA 4X, NEMA 6, and NEMA 12. Its rectangular shape incorporates 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor), with a sensing distance of 16mm and an infrared (IR) light color. The sensor's response time is 1ms / 0.001 s, and it supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
