About the product
Banner Engineering SM312CMHSQD is a photo-electric sensor from the SM312 series, designed with a convergent mode potentiometer adjustment. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and is pre-equipped with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. It operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The SM312CMHSQD offers versatile mounting options with an M18 threaded mount and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. It boasts a high degree of protection, rated at IP67 and compliant with multiple NEMA standards, including 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, and 12. The sensor has a rectangular shape and provides one digital output (PNP/NPN transistor). It is capable of sensing at a distance of 16mm, uses infrared (IR) light, and has a rapid response time of 0.3ms. Additionally, it supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
