About the product
Banner Engineering SM312LQD is a photo-electric sensor from the SM312 series designed in a retro-reflective mode with potentiometer adjustment. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and is pre-equipped with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and can be mounted using an M18 threaded mount. The SM312LQD operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, NEMA 2, NEMA 3, NEMA 3S, NEMA 4, NEMA 4X, NEMA 6, and NEMA 12. This rectangular-shaped sensor provides 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor), has a sensing distance of 5m, utilizes visible red light, and features a response time of 1ms / 0.001 s. It supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
