About the product
Banner Engineering SM312LV W/15 is a photo-electric sensor from the SM312 series, designed in a retro-reflective mode with potentiometer adjustment. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and is pre-wired with a 15ft / 4.5m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc / 24Vdc, and can be mounted using an M18 threaded mount. The sensor is capable of operating in ambient air temperatures ranging from -20 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, NEMA 2, NEMA 3, NEMA 3S, NEMA 4, NEMA 4X, NEMA 6, and NEMA 12. Its rectangular shape incorporates 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor), has a sensing distance of up to 5m, utilizes visible red light, and boasts a response time of 1ms / 0.001 s. The operating modes include Light-ON and Dark-ON.
