About the product

Banner Engineering SM31R W/30 is a photo-electric sensor from the SM312 series, designed with a through-beam system and opposed mode potentiometer adjustment. This sensor, functioning as a receiver alone, is housed in thermoplastic with an acrylic lens. It features a pre-wired connection with a 30ft / 9m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and can be mounted using an M18 threaded mount. It is designed to operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, and 12. The rectangular-shaped sensor provides 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor), has a sensing distance of 3m, utilizes infrared (IR) light, and boasts a response time of 1ms / 0.001 s. Its operating modes include Light-ON and Dark-ON.
