About the product
Banner Engineering SME312CVB is a photo-electric sensor from the SME312 Expert series, designed with a convergent mode and TEACH mode functionality. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing and an acrylic lens. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for connectivity. The SME312CVB operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is designed for M18 threaded mount installation and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. This sensor offers a high degree of protection, rated at IP67 and compliant with multiple NEMA standards, including 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, 12, and 13, ensuring its suitability for various industrial environments. The SME312CVB has a rectangular shape and includes 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor). It features a sensing distance of 16mm and uses visible blue light with a wavelength of 475 nm. The response time of this sensor is 0.5ms / 0.0005 s, and it supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
