About the product
Banner Engineering SME312DVQDPMA is a photo-electric sensor from the SME312 Expert series, designed with a diffuse mode TEACH mode. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing and an acrylic lens. It comes pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm pigtail terminated with a 5-pin Euro-style M12 connector. The supply voltage required for operation ranges from 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is designed for M18 threaded mount installation and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. The SME312DVQDPMA offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, NEMA 2, NEMA 3, NEMA 3S, NEMA 4, NEMA 4X, NEMA 6, NEMA 12, and NEMA 13. Its rectangular shape incorporates 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor) and has a sensing distance of 1.1m. The sensor emits visible red light with a wavelength of 650 nm and responds in 0.5ms / 0.0005 s, supporting both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
