About the product
Banner Engineering SME312FMHSQD is a photo-electric fiber optic sensor from the SME312 Expert series. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing with glass fiber and is designed with TEACH mode for versatile application. It comes pre-equipped with a 5-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy integration. The sensor operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is designed for M18 threaded mount installation and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. The SME312FMHSQD offers a high degree of protection, rated at IP67, NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, 12, and 13, making it suitable for a wide range of environmental conditions. Its rectangular shape incorporates 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor) and operates with an infrared light color at a wavelength of 880 nm. The sensor's response time is notably quick at 0.15ms / 0.00015 s, and it supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
