About the product
Banner Engineering VS2KAP5VQ is a photo-electric sensor designed with a thermoplastic housing MABS lns. and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, making it suitable for various industrial environments. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +55 °C and features a Light-ON NO (Normally Open) operating mode. This sensor is equipped with 1 x digital output (PNP transistor) and boasts a quick response time of 1ms (ON) and 0.5ms (OFF). It comes pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm pigtail terminated with a 3-pin Pico-style M8 connector for easy installation. The rectangular-shaped sensor operates at a wavelength of 660 nm, emitting visible red light, and is powered by a supply voltage ranging from 10Vdc to 30Vdc (with 12Vdc / 24Vdc nominal). Designed as a through-beam system or opposed mode, it has a sensing distance of 1.2m. This sensor is part of the VS2 series and functions as a photo-electric array, comprising both emitter and receiver pairs.
