About the product

Anybus by HMS Networks AB7833-F is a gateway within the X-gateway series designed to function as a protocol translator between DeviceNet and Ethernet/IP networks. This gateway facilitates vertical or flat installation and features galvanic isolation on both BUS/Ethernet sides. Configuration is managed via a USB port using the Anybus Configuration Manager software. The design incorporates a DeviceNet adapter and an EtherNet/IP adapter, equipped with 8 configuration switches, 8 IP configuration switches, and 10 LED indicators for various statuses. It operates on a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. The dimensions are H127mm x W44mm x D114mm, and it is housed in aluminium/plastic. Connection interfaces include 2 x RJ45 LAN connectors for 10/100Mbit/s Ethernet/IP (supporting both full and half duplex), 1 x 5-pin plug-in connector for DeviceNet, 1 x 2-poles 5.08mm plug-in screw connector for power, and 1 x USB connector. It offers an IP20 and NEMA 1 degree of protection and is designed for DIN rail mounting. The communication protocols supported are DeviceNet and Ethernet/IP. It is operational within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +65 °C, with a current consumption of 400mA (max) and 200mA (typical). Storage temperature range is -40 to +85 °C. The speed supported is 10/100Mbit/s for Ethernet and 125kbit/s, 250kbit/s, or 500kbit/s for DeviceNet. It is designed to operate in environments with 5-95% relative humidity (non-condensing).
