About the product

Anybus by HMS Networks AB7899-F, part of the X-gateway series, is a protocol translator gateway designed for vertical or flat installation with galvanic isolation on both BUS/Ethernet sides. It features a Modbus RTU and Modbus RTU slave design, configurable via USB port using Anybus Configuration Manager software. This gateway is equipped with 26 configuration switches, 10 LED indicators for fieldbus/sub-network/device status, and supports a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nom.). The dimensions are H127mm x W44mm x D114mm, with an aluminium/plastic housing. Connection options include 2 x 9-pin D-sub female connectors for serial RS-232/RS-485 (Modbus RTU), 1 x 2-poles 5.08mm plug-in screw connector for power (X3), and 1 x USB connector (X4). It offers an IP20 NEMA 1 degree of protection, DIN rail mounting, and operates on a Modbus RTU RS-485 communication protocol. The ambient air temperature for operation ranges from -25 to +65°C, with a current consumption of 400mA (24Vdc; max.) and 200mA (typical). Storage temperature ranges from -40 to +85°C, speed from 12kbit/s to 57.6kbit/s (Modbus), and it can operate in 5-95% relative humidity (RH; non-condensing).
