About the product
Anybus by HMS Networks AB7956-F is a gateway within the X-gateway series designed for protocol translation. It features a CC-Link IE Field slave and EtherNet/IP adapter configuration, supporting installation in both vertical and flat orientations with galvanic isolation on both BUS and Ethernet sides. Configuration is managed via a USB port using the Anybus Configuration Manager software. The device includes 8 configuration switches, 8 IP configuration switches, and 10 LED indicators for fieldbus, sub-network, and device status monitoring. It operates on a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nominal) and has dimensions of H127mm x W44mm x D114mm. The housing is made from aluminium and plastic, ensuring durability. Connection options include 2 x RJ45 CC-Link IE Field connectors, 2 x RJ45 LAN connectors for 10/100Mbit/s Ethernet/IP (supporting both full and half duplex), 1 x 2-poles 5.08mm plug-in screw connector for power, and 1 x USB connector for configuration. It offers an IP20 and NEMA 1 degree of protection and is designed for DIN rail mounting. The AB7956-F supports CC-Link and Ethernet/IP communication protocols, operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +65°C, and consumes a maximum of 400mA (24Vdc) or typically 200mA. It is designed for storage in temperatures ranging from -40 to +85°C and can operate in environments with 5-95% relative humidity (non-condensing). The gateway facilitates speeds of 1Gbit/s for CC-Link IE Field and 10/100Mbit/s for Ethernet, catering to a variety of industrial automation needs.
