About the product
Anybus by HMS Networks AB7953-F is a gateway designed for protocol translation within the X-gateway series. It functions as a PROFIBUS master and a CC-Link IE Field slave, featuring vertical or flat installation positions with galvanic isolation on both BUS/Ethernet sides. Configuration is managed via a USB port using Anybus Configuration Manager software. The device includes 8 configuration switches, 10 LED indicators for fieldbus, sub-network, and device status, and supports a supply voltage range of 19.2-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nominal). Its dimensions are H127mm x W44mm x D114mm, constructed from aluminium and plastic housing. Connection interfaces include 2 x RJ45 CC-Link IE Field connectors, 1 x 9-pin D-sub female connector for PROFIBUS X1.1, 1 x 9-pin D-sub male connector for PROFIBUS X1.2 and RS-232 configuration, 1 x 2-poles 5.08mm plug-in screw connector for power (X3), and 1 x USB connector (X4). It offers an IP20 NEMA 1 degree of protection, is mounted via DIN rail, and operates with CC-Link and PROFIBUS communication protocols. The ambient air temperature for operation ranges from -25 to +65°C, with a current consumption of 400mA (max) and 200mA (typical) at 24Vdc. Storage temperature tolerance is between -40 and +85°C. The gateway supports a speed of 1Gbit/s for CC-Link IE Field and up to 12Mbit/s for PROFIBUS, in environments with 5-95% relative humidity (non-condensing).
