NIDEC SP3403-EZ is a Variable Speed/Frequency Drive (VSD/VFD) / Inverter designed with an E.Z. Motion module and a single Safe Torque Off (STO) feature, utilizing air cooling for temperature management. It is structured for wall-mounted installation, with dimensions of frame size 3, measuring H15.32" x W9.84" x D10.23" (H389mm x W250mm x D260mm). The device operates on a supply voltage of 380Vac-480Vac (400Vac / 415Vac) and supports a network frequency of 48-65 Hz on the supply input and 0-550 Hz on the output. It is equipped with a rated current of 56A under normal duty and 46A under heavy-duty conditions. The SP3403-EZ features an ambient air temperature range for operation from 0°C to +40°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP20 NEMA 1. Communication is facilitated through a Modbus RTU RS-485 protocol. It includes 3-phase input (3P) network type, 3 x digital outputs (0-24Vdc; source), 1 x digital output (2A / 240Vac; source; relay contact type), 3 x digital inputs (0-24Vdc), and analog interfaces comprising 1 x analog input (-9.8Vdc...9.8Vdc; differential) and 2 x analog inputs (0-20mA / 4-20mA / -9.8Vdc...9.8Vdc; single-ended) with a 16-bit and 10-bit conversion resolution respectively, along with 2 x analog outputs (0-20mA / 4-20mA / -10Vdc...10Vdc; single-ended; source) with a 10-bit conversion resolution. The rated active power is 30kW for normal duty and 22kW for heavy-duty, corresponding to 40HP and 30HP respectively.
