Panasonic SF4D-A6-01 is a compact and robust arm/foot-protection intrinsically safe / safety light curtain sensor designed for a variety of safety applications. It features an interference prevention function, external device monitoring function compatible with 8-core / 12-core cables, an interlock function with manual or auto reset options, and an override function available with a 12-core cable. The housing is made of aluminium, while the sensing surface is constructed from polycarbonate resin and stainless steel SUS304, with nylon used for the upper and lower caps. This sensor comes pre-equipped with a connector for ease of installation. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +55°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67. The net height of the sensor, indicating its protective height, is 230 mm. It provides 2 x digital outputs (Selectable NPN/PNP open-collector / 24Vdc / 60-200mA) for safety outputs OSSD1+OSSD2 and 1 x digital output (Selectable NPN/PNP open-collector / 24Vdc / 100mA). The sensing distance ranges from 20cm to 9m in long mode, equivalent to 0.656 to 29.528 feet, and from 80cm to 15m, or 2.625 to 49.213 feet, in long mode.
