Pilz PILZ-630730 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 30mm. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C and has a net height of 1883.3 mm. This part of the Basic sub-range features a design that includes an emitter and receiver pair, with the emitter connecting via a 4-pin M12 connector and the receiver via a 5-pin M12 connector. It offers a protective height of 1800mm and is rated IP65 for protection against dust and water ingress. The supply voltage required is 19.2-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc. Constructed from painted aluminium housing with a PC cap and PMMA front screen, it has a yellow housing color. The maximum cable length is 50m, with a net width of 32.3 mm and a sensing distance ranging from 0.2m to 19m. It utilizes infrared LED light with a wavelength of 950 nm and has a power consumption of up to 2W for the emitter and 3W for the receiver without load. The device features 96 beams with a 30mm beam gap, a net depth of 36.9 mm, and operates with a response time of 24ms. It offers a resolution of 30mm for hand protection and includes 2 digital outputs (PNP; 500mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs. The ambient air temperature for storage is specified as -25 to +70°C.
