Pilz PILZ-630741 is a safety light curtain designed for finger protection, capable of detecting 14mm opaque objects with an emitter and receiver pair. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55 °C and has a net height of 233.3 mm. This part falls under the Basic sub-range and features a protective height of 150mm, with a degree of protection rated at IP65. It requires a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. The housing is made of painted aluminium, with a PC cap and PMMA front screen, and is colored yellow. The maximum cable length is 50m, and it has a net width of 32.3 mm. The sensing distance ranges from 0.2m to 6m, utilizing infrared LED light with a power consumption of max 2.5 W for the emitter and max 3.5 W for the receiver without load. It features 16 beams with a 14mm beam gap, a net depth of 36.9 mm, and operates at a wavelength of 950 nm. The ambient air temperature for storage is between -25 and +70 °C. It includes 2 x digital outputs (PNP; 500mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs and has a response time of 11ms / 0.011 s. The connection type includes a 4-pin M12 connector for the emitter and an 8-pin M12 connector for the receiver, ensuring a secure connection for operational integrity.
