Pilz PILZ-630744 is a safety light curtain designed for finger protection, capable of detecting 14mm opaque objects across an emitter and receiver pair. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55 °C and offers a net height of 1133.2 mm. This part falls under the Basic sub-range and features a protective height of 1050mm, with a degree of protection rated at IP65. It requires a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal, and is constructed from painted aluminium housing with a PC cap and PMMA front screen, presented in a yellow housing color. The device supports a maximum cable length of 50m, has a net width of 32.3 mm, and operates within a sensing distance of 0.2m to 6m. It utilizes infrared LED (IR) light with a wavelength of 950 nm and has a power consumption of max 2.5 W for the emitter and max 3.5 W for the receiver without load. The safety light curtain features 112 beams with a 14mm beam gap, a net depth of 36.9 mm, and offers two digital outputs (PNP; 500mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs. It has a response time of 33ms / 0.033 s and is designed for a resolution of 14mm for finger protection. The device is equipped with a 4-pin M12 connector for the emitter and an 8-pin M12 connector for the receiver, and it can be stored in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25 to +70 °C.
