Pilz PILZ-630760 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, capable of detecting 30mm opaque objects with an emitter and receiver pair. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55 °C and has a net height of 383.2 mm. This part falls under the Basic sub-range and features a protective height of 300mm, with a degree of protection rated at IP65. It requires a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nominal) and is constructed with a painted aluminium housing, PC cap, and PMMA front screen, presented in a yellow color. The maximum cable length is 50m, and it has a net width of 32.3 mm. The sensing distance ranges from 0.2m to 19m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 950 nm. Power consumption is max 2.5 W for the emitter and max 3.5 W for the receiver without load. It features 16 beams with a 30mm beam gap, a net depth of 36.9 mm, and can operate within an ambient air temperature range for storage of -25 to +70 °C. It includes 2 x digital outputs (PNP; 500mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs and has a response time of 11ms / 0.011 s, with a resolution of 30mm for hand protection. Connection types are a 4-pin M12 connector for the emitter and an 8-pin M12 connector for the receiver.
