Pilz PILZ-630762 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, capable of detecting 30mm opaque objects across an emitter and receiver pair. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55 °C and features a net height of 683.2 mm. This part is part of the Basic sub-range and offers a protective height of 600mm with an IP65 degree of protection. It requires a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. The housing is made of painted aluminium with a PC cap and PMMA front screen, presented in yellow. The maximum cable length is 50m, and it has a net width of 32.3 mm. Its sensing distance ranges from 0.2m to 19m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 950 nm. Power consumption is max 2.5 W for the emitter and max 3.5 W for the receiver without load. It features 24 beams with a 30mm beam gap, a net depth of 36.9 mm, and offers two digital outputs (PNP; 500mA) from the receiver (OSSD outputs). The response time is 14ms / 0.014 s, and it has a resolution of 30mm for hand protection. The connection type includes a 4-pin M12 connector for the emitter and an 8-pin M12 connector for the receiver. It is designed to function within an ambient air temperature range for storage of -25 to +70 °C.
